Hypnotherapy For Lasting Change

Address the subconscious programming in your mind. Change the patterns that cause you suffering. Once and for all.

Get Back To Who You Are By Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind

The subconscious is the space in your mind that hosts everything you’ve ever seen, heard, or felt and stores your skills, memories, intuitions, attitudes, and beliefs. It processes more information more deeply than your conscious mind ever will.

As a result, everything you think, feel, and do today is a direct result of your lifelong subconscious programming.

To change your thoughts and behaviours, you need to change your subconscious programming. To change your subconscious programming, you need to access your subconscious mind.

Hypnotherapy addresses the subconscious programming in your mind that has been developed throughout your life — programming that other methods of therapies do not touch — opening the door for lasting transformation and meaningful change.

Ways Hypnotherapy Can Improve your Life

We recommend adding hypnotherapy to your treatment plan if you’re looking to:

  • Change negative thoughts and self-talk
  • Gain confidence
  • Manage stress
  • Enhance time management and productivity
  • Overcome anxiety and depression
  • Transform negative thought patterns
  • Stop self-sabatoging your goals
  • Enhance athletic performance
  • Overcome fears and suppressed negative feelings

The positive impacts of hypnotherapy are far-reaching, especially when paired with other therapy methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neurofeedback, and Coaching & Counselling sessions. Most find that including one hypnotherapy session every few appointments works well.

Almost immediately I experienced relaxation and the sense that I am in safe hands and being gently guided to a good place. I experience a pleasant sleepiness mixed with a mild rush of anticipation that I’m “on my way” to truly being myself again. In the beginning I experienced a slight weepiness, as I felt I was letting go of things, and that was followed by a renewed inner resolve and a lightness of being. It felt as though I was shedding pounds of unneeded self and self criticisms, they seem to vanish.”

FAQ

No. This is a common misconception, but you can rest easy knowing it’s completely untrue. In reality, when you’re in a hypnotic state, you are actually in a hyper-attentive, conscious, and relaxed state— and you’re in full control of yourself.

You’re capable of ignoring your hypnotist, and you can absolutely decide whether or not to explore what your hypnotist is suggesting.

No, hypnosis does not force you to go back to or relive negative experiences or trauma. In fact, it’s the opposite— hypnosis is very helpful for dealing with negative past experiences and trauma because it can help you reframe your negative memories in a more positive way.

You’ll relax in a quiet setting as I use a variety of suggestions and techniques to help you achieve a state of hypnosis. There will be constant communication between us as I actively assess whether the technique I’m using is the best one for you.

Once you achieve the desired state, I’ll help connect you to a part of yourself that feels safe and resilient, so you can handle whatever arises without experiencing trauma.

Then, we’ll tap into your unconscious mind (which doesn’t know the difference between real and imagined experiences) and start to reframe your issues in a positive way. Expect to feel refreshed, relaxed, and optimistic after your session.

Your initial, free 15-minute consultation will be a telephone appointment. Following that, you can choose between telephone, virtual, or in-person appointments at our clinic in North Vancouver.
